My love of tutoring started in my first semester of college. As I excelled in my classes, I couldn't help but notice that many of my classmates were struggling. As my fellow students discovered that I was understanding concepts that they didn't get, they started coming to me for help. I found joy in explaining the ways in which I learned the material, and my first students caught on quickly and said that my way really helped them understand. I have since graduated from UNCW with a chemistry degree, summa cum laude. I have 2.5+ years of experience with Cape Fear Community College, and I frequently hear feedback like I heard at the beginning of my college career: The way I explain concepts is very concise, thorough, and easily understood.
